What are HPVs?

HPVs (Human Papilloma Viruses) are a large group of viruses that infect both women and men. More than 130 different types of HPV have been identified so far. They are classified based on the difference in their DNA and they are identified by numbers (e.g. HPV6, HPV11, HPV16, etc).
